| An abandoned gas station on the Silas Deane Highway stood for years as one of Wethersfield's worst eye-sores. A dedicated group of volunteers cleaned up the grounds, reconstructed the building, and painted it to create an attractive addition to the highway. The building sold quickly. | |||||
